ABOUT
A great 12 year old Demerara rum. This has won golds at the Caribbean Rum Taste Test in London 7 times in the first 10 years! There are nine stills at the distillery, and this is based around coffey still rum, and double wooden pot still rum.
METHOD
Blended 12 year old rums with an estery richness acquired from the EHP Wooden Coffey and Metal Coffey stills.
TASTE & AROMA
Lush tropical fruit and spice nose with hints of honey and dark sugar. Mellow, full bodied with rich flavours of fruits and spice. A delightful, elegant and dry finish.
RECOMMENDED SERVES
El Dorado Old Fashioned: 50ml 12 Year Old, One brown sugar cube soaked in bitters, Half slice of orange
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir for 30-40 seconds. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass over fresh ice. Garnish with an orange twist.
