ABOUT
The El Dorado 8 year old is a complex fusion of a full flavoured, heavy bodied rum with light-to-medium bodied rums. A sumptuous smooth sipping rum which can also form the basis of memorable cocktails.
METHOD
A blend of heavy-bodied rum with light-to-medium bodied rums aged in bourbon oak casks.
TASTE & AROMA
Light to medium-bodied nose with hints of tobacco mixed with caramel. Faint aroma of dried stone fruits and flambéed banana. Soft and faintly sweet mouth feel with traces of oak and butterscotch. Distinctly smooth.
RECOMMENDED SERVES
El Dorado Mai Tai: 30ml El Dorado 8 Year Old, 20ml El Dorado 5 Year Old, Fresh lime, Orgeat
Shake over crushed ice. Add lime wedge and mint sprig to garnish.
