One of the wild or semi wild expressions available seasonally. Semi wild means wild seeds are planted by our farmers in the nursery or on community or private fields and when transplanted, left to grow as in the wild (Truly wild agave are increasingly scarce so we feel replanting wild seeds is a more responsible way to enjoy these types of agave). We get our agave in the areas of El Palmar, San Luis Amatlan, Miahuatlan, Oaxaca. Agave Madrecuishe is part of the Karwinskii family that also includes Cuishe, Cirial, and Tobasiche and they take between 12-16 Yeats to mature. It grows mostly in dry climates, and typically takes a tall, cylindrical shape.

Artisanal – pit roasted, crushed with Tahona, wild fermentation in wooden vats, double distillation in alembic stills.
TASTE & AROMA
This mezcal is complex, bright and mineral, with a little vanilla on the nose. To taste, its floral, delicate, fruity and with very little smoke. To finish its smooth and grassy.
